I am currently off sick following a mastectomy. My 7^th breast operation. I have had breast lumps since I was 23 and didn’t realise the seriousness of the situation until now.

I normally work as a Legal Secretary and have done so for many years.

I was also doing a part time law degree and by correspondence a legal accounts course.

I am happy to answer any questions you may have regarding this site and the issues raised.

I have decided not to have a reconstruction following my breast operation due to the fact that I want to be able to feel any abnormalities. I know that by having the mastectomy it won’t completely eradicate the stress, worry and fear that breast lumps may occur.

I hope this site will prevent other young women/girls going through what I have.               

My motto is Prevention is better than Cure.
